It’s no longer news that we live in the end time and we live in a generation where corruption, immoralities, killing, violence, sexual abuse, moral decadence,
injustice, unbelief and all forms of vices are the order of the day!
Youths of today are no longer zealous about the things of God. Technology, social media, worldly music and lust for the things of this world have turned our 
generation to some generations described in the bible; the twisted generation, children of whom there is no faith (Deut. 32:20), perverse and crooked generation (Deut. 32:5), Generation which knew not the Lord (Judges 2:10), generation of vipers (Mathew 23:33), the untoward generation (Acts 2: 40). In fact Proverbs 30:11- 14 stated clearly; “there is a generation that curse their father and does not bless their mother, there is a generation that are pure in their own eyes and yet not washed from their filthiness, there is a generation, oh how lofty are their eyes and their eyelids are lifted up, there is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men”.
Looking at our contemporary world, researchers have also made us to understand that we now live in the generation AO (Always On), unlike the past generations X, Y and Z, the AO generation has been described as a generation with a higher influence of the internet, they are quick acting, multitasking, who count on the internet as their external brain, they will exhibit a thirst for instant gratification and quick fixes, a loss of patience and a lack of deep thinking ability.

The bible did mention that in the last days perilous times shall come, for men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Tim. 3: 1- 5, 7)
Friends, in the midst of this great holocaust, God is raising a generation! It’s the emergence of a new breed! It’s a generation I call the GENERATION PLUS, a special species of kingdom addicted covenant practitioners who are ready to turn this generation around thereby becoming a plus to their generation.
Who are these people? Where are they from? And what will be the scope of their influence? The bible says:
“Behold there is a people, come out from Egypt; behold they cover the face of the earth” Numbers 22:5b
“Behold there is a people”, who are these people? These are special species, people of influence and dominion, that cannot be cursed, they are world changers, carriers of God’s glory, they are heavenly minded but earthly relevant, they are people that have made a covenant with God to serve Him in season and out of season, they are carriers of God’s word to change their world, they are dead to sin but alive unto righteousness, they have crucified the flesh and have the world under their feet!
Coming out from where? “Coming out from Egypt” coming out of the world’s system, coming out of the world’s financial systems and crisis, coming out of the shackle, bondage and failure of the world’s economy, coming out of the styles and fashions of this world, coming out of the pollution of this world!
What is the scope of their influence? “Behold they cover the face of the earth” they are everywhere! They are unstoppable! They are world class Christians! They are no other than what I called “the GENERATION PLUS”!
The bible says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light” 1 Peter 2:9.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE G+
- Separation from the world: “a people come out from Egypt”, you cannot solve a problem you are part of. “wherefore come out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” 2 Cor. 6:17. You must be free from the power and influence of sin. The G+ are people that have contacts without contamination! Even though they are on the internet, they are not influenced negatively by it but rather use the internet and all social media as an avenue to reach out to lost souls. They can boldly say with me “no matter the pollution of this world, I cannot be polluted, it’s not pride, it’s just who I am”
- Strong Love for God: in devotion, intercession and evangelism (die), “I die daily”. The G+ are people that love the lord their God with all their heart, and with all their strength and with all their mind and their neighbor as themselves.
- Faith and power: people of power, full of faith, not moved by what they see, hear or feel, they are not controlled by the dictates of the world’s system. They are men and women that see with the eyes of faith (God’s contact lenses), impossibilities are not in their dictionaries. They are people of power, subduing the kingdoms of darkness, destroying strongholds by the power of the blood of Jesus and the testimonies of their mouth, causing spiritual revolutions based on resolutions made through divine revelation!. Despite the enormous power at their disposals, they have also learnt to wait on God and be patient, running the race with patience in order to win the crown.
- Influence: the G+ are people of great influence and are world changers, making positive impact and difference in every industry they find themselves; music, entertainment, science, technology, medicine, agriculture, education, military, arts and entrepreneurship.
- Right attitude and mentality: they possess the right attitude and have a winning mentality, they don’t have a grasshopper mentality and they have the mind of Christ, believing they can do all things in Christ Jesus who strengthens them. They see miracles instead of obstacles, turning failures into fertilizers, they don’t give up and don’t procrastinate, not slothful in business, fervent in the spirit, serving the lord at the same time. Setting their priorities right to ensure they achieve their set goals and visions in life.
- Courage: G+ are people of courage, they are not afraid to take bold steps in life. Fear does not have dominion over them. They are like Joshua, Daniel, Shadrack, Meshach, Abednego, Deborah, Esther, Paul and the Apostles.
Friend, it is the emancipation of a new breed! Are you part of the generation plus? The entry qualification is Christ Jesus! The earnest expectation of the creature awaits the manifestation of the sons of God. Go and affect your generation! Be a plus to your generation!
