Right! You can’t fight desire with denial; you have to fight it with a GREATER DESIRE!
Are you struggling to overcome bad habits, sexual immorality, pornography, and other forms of addictions? Simply switching to denial mode will not produce a lasting result! 
The best solution is to fight that evil desire with a bigger, better, stronger, and greater DESIRE!
The greatest desire that can quench all forms of desires is the desire to serve Jesus, knowing Him, loving Him, serving Him with your spirit, soul, and body!
Paul said that I may know Him (Jesus) and the power of His resurrection! The Desire and thirst to know him more in worship, prayers and study of the Bible coupled with a devotional life and dedication to work for Him will eventually quench all negative desires!
That is why the Bible says: “But I say, live by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)
Today, you can desire to serve Jesus by surrendering your life to Him, all you have to do is pray a simple prayer, acknowledging that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, the Son of God, Confess your sins and ask Him for forgiveness! Bravo! You are a child of God after you pray that simple prayer!
